Kailali  : Two persons were killed in lightning in Kailali and Rupandehi district today.    
    
The deceased in Kailali was identified as Punaram Chaudhary,48, of Krishnapur municipality-5 in Kanchapur district, according to the District Police Office, Kailali.    
    
He was struck by the thunderbolt while he was on the way to Malakheti of Godawari Municipality-3 in Kailali district to cultivate paddy, informed DSP Bed Prakash Joshi.    
    
Similarly, another deceased was identified as Ramnath Barahi, 45, of Siyari rural municipality-2 in Rupandehi, according to the District Police Office, Rupandehi.    
    
The lightning struck him while going to work in the farmland at Siyari Rural Municipality-2, police said. The dead body has been kept at Bhim Hospital at Bhairahawa forpost-mortem.
